mystery flavours

I made a roll today for Wee Small. She wanted tuna, lettuce, and tomato and actually ate it. I was impressed.

"Did it taste good?" I asked.

"Yes. I put it in a big puddle and ate it."

Ah, but a puddle of what? That makes all the difference...

Humel made me laugh. :)

Ah, a sandwich is all the better for having a few soggy edges. Perhaps the puddle was only the juice from the tuna...
I'm all for adventure when it comes to food!

I hope I don't disappoint one and all by saying it was just brackish dirty stagnant water.

Please write a book. Do you have one out already? I want it if you do. If not, I'm first in line for the one you should write. Your posts ALWAYS make me smile. Thank you for that. :)

Hi Katie,

There is no tummy mountain book, but I think there should be. Thanks for dropping by and saying such nice things, even when the little ones have been dragging their food in the mud.

I'm still laughing. You are always good for a smile. I am waiting for a book also. :)

I suddenly recall my recent trip to the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory where odd flavored jelly beans sometimes appear; baby wipe, pencil shavings, skunk spray... brackish water might show up one day, who knows...

I don't know if I would want the little ones to eat brackish water jelly beans.
