prizes! prizes! prizes! crazyness!

the little ones at tummy mountain are in a competition with a prize!

scenes of mayhem! and hysteria!
running amok! arms akimbo! shouting slogans!

there is a tummy mountain print "dances with rabbits" for offer as a prize at:

the little ones have been all over the woolies-woolies blog. They are amazed at the desert pictures as they have never seen such things on tummy mountain.

wee small thinks the blog is run by two lambs called woolie and woolie.
wee small says they are sisters.

yay! cuteable! yay!

Everyone on tummy mountain is very excited! We are featured today on cuteable!

Tonight we are having a party to celebrate. We have been sitting at the table for ages. The Little One is making a lovely meal of handfuls of lawn and raw egg in a glass. She hasn't quite finished as it is a very difficult recipe.

Thanks to Lynsey at cuteable! The little ones will send some dinner over to you. Yum.

lasso technique

We have been trying to catch clouds today with not much success.

...well, to be accurate, no success.

We're not very good at ropes.
We're better at spelling.
But we're not sure about "lasso" - that doesn't look right. Maybe we spelt "lasso" wrong and that is why we cannot catch a cloud.
Maybe we spelt "spelled" wrong.
Maybe we're not good at spelling either.

We are very good at pretending to be frogs.

Today we have been very helpful. We have unravelled all the cotton wool. Now you can see all of it anywhere in the house.

Finally we have tied enough ladders together so we can climb to the moon. We want to visit the man in the moon, and we want to get some moonlight for wee small's birthday cake. When we ask her how old she is going to be she says "I'm turning small tomorrow."

We have been jumping up and down on the couch and have spilled banana smoothies all over it. The tall one is a bit cross. But we are so excited because we have been on the front page of etsy a few more times, and we are going to be featured on cuteable on July 30.

I think the couch needs to be jumped on one more time.

Diary of a Diplodocus: The Grand Finale

"After dinner I went to see a show. It was a son et lumiere production called "Volcano Erupts"
The effects were incredible! Very realistic! You felt like you were really there!"

Diary of a Diplodocus: Jurassic Gourmet

"I have to confess that my principle reason for this excursion was to indulge in some of the local cuisine. The Horsetails are particularly full of flavour at this time of year, but really it is the Lepidodendron and Glossopteris that make my mouth water. The secret is to eat just the tips - that's it! The rest is just roughage, sure it's full of fibre but it's not very tasty. If you ever find yourself up here you have just got to try the Clubmosses in the Bajocian Valley. Beyond Yum!"

As June fades into July

The little ones are crawling around on the floor making “blob blob” noises. Their clothes are making the floor cleaner. They tell me that they are fish and the floor is the ocean. It seems I have been wrong about so many things for so long.

Diary of a Diplodocus: Dizzy Heights

" I always make a point of visiting the natural features of the local area. Gondwana Mountain came highly recommended by all the locals. It was quite a steep climb and I had to rest a few times on the way up. I stood well back from the edge and let my long neck crane over the edge, until I felt a little dizzy. The view was amazing, and I think if you're ever in that part of the world you should check it out."
